Claus and Effect is a community outreach nonprofit. We believe that through God’s love you can Claus a positive Effect in your community. We host free events for area children, Easter egg hunts, back to school and Christmas events. All our events are open to area residents. We host our events to bring kindness and joy to all our community members. We respect all aspects of our community including race, ethnicity, age, religion, gender expression, sexual orientation, socio-economic background and ability. We do not discriminate. My husband and I started this ministry as a way to give back to our community with the blessings God has given to us. We are a 501c3, nonprofit organization. How we got started: my husband and I were asked by our church to dress in costume for an event they were having at a local school. We loved seeing the magical look and pure joy in the kids eyes so much we decided we wanted to keep going. How we get the items we give away: We are mainly self funded, while we are not a wealthy family we do our best to pay forward the blessings God has given us, therefore we try to make our events as grand as we can but needless to say supplies are limited. We look to purchase items on extreme discount in order to stock up on toys and other items we give away. We also have fund raisers and raffles, we also accept any type of donation from toys, handmade items, or monetary donations.
